PopMyVideo is the polish layer for creators who film on their phone and post the same night. Import one clip — get auto captions, text overlays, motion graphics, video effects, and sound timed to what's in the video.
PopMyVideo adds animated overlays on top of your original footage — captions synced to speech, stat cards on key claims, bursts on the action, impacts on silent B-roll. Your pixels are never regenerated or restyled.
Most phone clips look fine — but fine doesn't hold attention on mute. We built PopMyVideo for the step after filming: one clip in, timed polish out, export a finished Reel, Short, or ad in minutes. No multi-track timeline.
The app reads visuals and listens when there's audio, finds moments worth enhancing, and layers moving graphics and sound on top. You import, preview versions, regenerate any moment with a prompt, and export MP4 from your phone.
What it's not
Not a podcast clipper — bring the short clip you've already cut; we add captions and retention graphics. Not a full editor like CapCut or Descript — no timeline maze, no long-form transcript edit. Not AI video generation — your footage stays yours.
Privacy
We don't re-encode your clip in the cloud. AI returns animation code — captions, graphics, and effects as a lightweight spec — and your phone composites it onto your footage locally. To build that spec, we send compressed frames and audio to third-party AI services; that data is deleted as soon as the job finishes. No project cloud sync.
